You must be an annual paid up member of AMA and MERC to race at our events.  AMA and MERC membership lasts 12 months.  AMA provides MERC and riders with insurance for events.

As of 6/9/2022 all AMA members who wish to race are now required to obtain personal accident insurance cover to fulfil their membership obligations.

Previously you were only required to be a member of the AMA in order to compete in AMA sanctioned events, however you are now also required to obtain a "Sports licence".

This means you will have membership AND a sports licence.

Please note: YOU MUST HAVE BOTH THE MEMBERSHIP & THE SPORTS LICENCE TO BE ABLE TO RACE.

AMA annual licence - $100 for a family or $50 for a individual/solo rider.  To buy or renew your annual AMA licence click here.  Please complete this step before renewing or becoming a MERC Member. Your AMA membership number will be emailed to you.  Write down your AMA membership number and renewal date. You will need this when renewing or becoming a MERC Member.

MERC Annual Membership - $50 for the first family member then $10 for every immediate family member thereafter.  To renew or become a MERC Member click here.  You will need your login details to register for our events.  Email us at info@merc.net.au if you can't find or don't have a username.  You need to be a paid up MERC member to have a username.

$30 race entry fee and $0 nipper race fee to enter the event. No manual entries on the day.

You can also book a transponder for $25 when registering for the event.  There are only 10 available for hire.  You can race without a transponder but you won't be timed.
